CONVERT -- board foot and cubic log scale conversion program
Overview
The "CONVERT" spreadsheet program provides conversions between common board foot log rules and cubic volume, for individual logs of various diameters and lengths, ranging in 1 inch diameter classes of from 6 to 36 inches in diameter and 8 to 20 feet in length (in two foot increments) and also allows for aggregate sample distribution conversions for a representative log diameter and length distribution that may be entered at the user's discretion. The program requires no entries except for providing the assumptions for the representative log diameter and length sample distribution if aggregate conversion data are desired, so it does not require a manual.
